Excellent condition classic English provincial maker boxlock that appears to have very little use, almost like going in Mr Davies shop and buying new. 2 1/2" cartridges are now readily available from Gamebore and RST shotgun shells.

Howard A. Davies gunmakers operated at 6 Southgate street Winchester England from 1932-1955 when the firm was renamed B.E. Chaplin and still resides there today.
