Midland Company Hammergun Side by Side, 12 Ga, 30" Barrels

Midland Company Hammergun Side by Side in 12 Ga, a classic British-made field gun built with 30" barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, and a solid rib. It features a Straight English stock and a two-choke setup (Left: Full; Right: IM) for versatile field performance.

Dating to 1925 in the United Kingdom, this Midland hammergun is in very good overall condition. The stock is in excellent order, while the forend shows use with a dent on the right-hand side and the end has been knocked off. Right-hand barrel is engraved "Midland Gun Co." and the left "Birmingham & London." The barrels show surface marks and light surface corrosion in a couple of very small areas; approximately 70% of bluing remaining. There is scroll engraving on the receiver and hammers; rebounding hammers remain tight and break action is smooth. Brass bead sight. LOP 13 7/8" and LOP to Wood 13 5/8", DAC 2", DAH 3", neutral cast, overall length 46", weight 6 4/5 lbs. Straight English stock with no palm swell. License for C&R.
