Vintage 20ga E. M. Reilly Hammer Jones Underlever Single

Description:
This single barrel E. M. Reilly 20ga hammer gun is a very nice and interesting piece of shotgunning history. The gun features a Jones underlever, non-rebounding hammer, lovely original twist steel 28" barrel marked Arthur Turner (Sheffield) Ltd, locks marked E. M. Reilly & Co, nicely figured walnut stock and forend with checkering and horn cap. The gun has quite a bit of choke, between improved modified and light full. Proofed for 2 1/2" cartridges but it measures closer to 2 3/4" with a Galazan gauge. Unfortunately all records for E. M. Reilly were destroyed when the business closed. We have seen similar big bore single shots by Reilly but not many small bores. Weighs 4lbs 8oz and is a joy to handle!
