Rarely do you see a modern shotgun that embraces so much cutting edge technology. This Swedish made shotgun, the Caprinus has an unique rail bolting rail system designed to never go off face. Additionaly you will notice that the forend does not need to be removed to assemble or disassemble the gun (review the owners manual pages that are photographed). The gun cocks with the top lever which is also unusual. The action is striker fired and as such there are no hammers resulting in an extremely fast trigger pull (time not wasted on hammers falling). Finally, the ejectors are activated by firing (gas) and will eject only when a live round is shot. With snap caps or a inert shell there is only extraction. The gun has a single selective trigger with the barrel selector on the trigger blade. Auto safety. Barrels are 27 3/4" (28" nominal) and are fitted with factory choke tubes. The choke tube selection includes - 2 cylinder chokes, 1 improved cylinder, 1 modified, 1 improved modified and 1 full. The choke designation is stamped on the tube with 00000 = cylinder and 0 = full, etc. Bores are .723 with chambers at 3". Engraved stock oval. Weight of the gun is 7 LBS 2 1/2 OZ. LOP is 14 3/16". Drop at comb is 1 7/16". Drop at heel is 2". Stock has cast off. Elegant factory case with stock tool, choke tube tool and wrench for forend screws. Shipping is $100.
