Pre-War Charles Daly 12 Gauge manufactured in Belgium in 1936 with 26" Acier Comprime IC/M ejector barrels with a raised file cut solid rib with ivory front bead. Chambers are 2 3/4" and so proved. Bores are excellent measuring .723 right and left. Choked .007 right and .020 left. Scalloped back reciever exhibits double underlugs with a hidden third bite. Fences are sculpted with side clips. Double triggers with the front articulated. Retains 70% vivid case colors. All screws appear to be unturned. Engraved with 90% coverage of well cut scroll engraving with breech and muzzle end of barrels also engraved. Stocked in a very strongly figured piece of European Walnut with heavy fiddleback and dark mineral streaks. Buttstock with Prince of Wales grip, reciever drop points, and fine side panel checkering. Anson forend release. LOP is 14 1/8" to a soft Noshoc pad.  DAC - 1 1/4"  DAH - 2 1/4"  Neutral cast. Weighs in at 6lb 12 oz
This is a very high quality pre-war piece that remains in 100% original condition. It is tight and on face. Barrels chime. Ejectors are strong and well timed. The water table exhibits a CM hallmark and I believe it was built by Charles Masquelier, a very respected Belgium maker. It has great game gun weight and dimmensions with a myriad of nice features. It does have a few minor stock dings from limited use. It just doesn't get any better than this!
