Description: OFFERS CONSIDERED Charles Hellis & Sons is an iconic London gunmaker who was legendary for his nimble handling game guns. At 5 pounds 15 ounces it is easy to carry and a great upland game gun. This example is a 12 bore boxlock ejector which has been reproofed to 2.75 inches and is in almost new condition. It has a deep blue case colored action which which has beaded fences, a cutaway action and is very finely engraved. The stock is traditional oil finished English Walnut with an English straight stock and very nice, sharp, checkering. It is tight on face and shows very little signs of use. It comes with a canvas and leather motor case.
