Description:
This Belgian odd Hammergun, made by Merolla, is quite visually interesting, with the eyes immediately being drawn to the sculpted trigger guard and back action locks. Aside from the visual interest, it also bears a fascinating push button action and fixed forend, making it of mechanical interest as well. Physically the firearm is in fair overall condition, as though the stocks are in good condition with no serious faults, the Damascus barrels have several deep dents and some deep corrosion in the right bore. This is all aside from the fact that the barrels have been poorly reblacked, concealing the beautiful Damascus pattern. Another serious fault is in the locks, as the right lock appears to have a broken hammer spring, while the left lock still functions.
