Sauer & Sohn: A Boxlock Drilling 16 x 16 x 7 x 57R Made in 1963 with 23 3/4" Special Laufstahl steel barrels with a rib extension cross bolt at .663 .017 & .023 (Mod. & Full), 2 3/4" chambers, Complete with a factory installed full length 23 3/4" insert barrel in 22 Savage Hi Power that fits in the right barrel, The insert is serialed to the gun and Made by R. Henneberger in Munnerstadt, Factory installed claw mounts mounted with a rail (The proper & best way to mount a scope) 8 x 56 Schmidt & Bender scope, Side clip action body, Front trigger is for the rifle barrel and it is a set trigger, Top tang rifle barrel selector that actuates a fold-up rear sight, Steel trigger guard, Scalloped action body, Cocking indicators, 14 1/8" lop over a 5/8" factory pad, 7 lbs. 2 oz., 8 lbs. 11 oz. with the scope, 9 lbs. 10 oz. with the scope & the 22 Savage HP barrels inserted, 45% coverage of typical period scroll engraving, A cartridge trap in the buttstock line that is 100% engraved, European cheekpiece, Oak leaf carving at the butt ahead of the pad, 98% barrel blue, 90% receiver finish, 92% wood finish, The checkering at 98%, All the bores remain in excellent plus condition except the 7x57R bore is very good condition.
