Engraved 1920’s German Double 20 Ga Shotgun Marked Alb Weiss Kulmbach, Bavaria Excellent Bores
Description: Another “ESTATE” firearm listing brought to you from Dust 2 Dollars who prides themselves on showing the complete gun in high quality pictures along with a detailed description for your consideration. We offer you an “Engraved” 1920’s German Double Barreled 20 Gauge marked Albert (Alb) Weiss Kulmbach, Bavaria. This 20 gauge German double wears 27 2/8 inch barrels that have excellent bores with no issues. It has an extractors and short chambers. The markings are "Alb" Weiss” / “KRUPP-STAHL-PRIMA” / “Kulmbach / Bav” “Nitro”. The barrel flat is marked “52 / “Eagle” - 1st proof / “Eagle/U” proof - 2nd proof and examination / “Crown-S” shotgun proof “Crown/W” - proof choke barrels/ “Crown/U” / 20 Circled 20 / 6.32 / 345. The chokes appear to be right at Improved Modified and Modified. The bluing is in very fine condition on the barrels and shows some freckling, marks and small dings. The engraved receiver shows some traces of case colors and is in very fine condition. The trigger guard and grip cap are horn and are both in very fine condition. The forearm is in very fine condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The butt stock has no cracks with one chip as shown in the pictures. The L.O.P. over the pad is 14 1/8 inch over the pad. The shotgun is tight with no issues and both trigger function as they should. With the front trigger having an adjustable "set" feature. At one time the double had sling swivel attachments. The one at the bottom of the barrel has been removed as shown with the butt stock hole being filled in. There is no serial number on the shotgun and the name could be a retailer. SALE PENDING!
