Offered here is an exceptionally scarce and highly desirable pre-war Greifelt boxlock over/under 16 gauge, serial number 46830, representing the finest traditions of Suhl gunmaking during the golden age of German sporting arms. Elegant, mechanically sophisticated, and beautifully appointed, this refined continental game gun is a true collector’s piece seldom encountered on today’s market. Built with superb prewar craftsmanship, this handsome over/under features 26 inch vent rib barrels with bright bores, chambered for the far more practical and desirable 2 3/4 inch shells, and choked Full and Modified for classic upland or driven bird use. The gun is fitted with automatic ejectors and a single selective trigger, combining period elegance with modern functionality.

The action is a beautifully sculpted boxlock receiver, richly embellished with factory-cut floral scroll engraving of notable depth and quality. Distinctive cocking indicators are present, adding both visual charm and mechanical sophistication. The stockwork is particularly impressive, fitted with an exhibition grade English straight grip walnut stock, finely carved and sharply checkered, displaying striking figure and warmth throughout.
