Piotti BSEE 20 Gauge – 5 1/2LBS., CASED, 99%, GREAT PRICE, vintage firearms inc
Description: General Specs: Piotti, Year 1983, 20 Gauge, 5lb 8oz, Chokes IC/M Serial Number: 7899 F illi Piotti of Italy is amongst the top gunmakers in the world, a statement not contested by knowledgeable gun enthusiasts. The Piotti BSEE that we have here, sn7899 built by special order in 1983 is the company's BEST BOXLOCK gun. The standard features include a receiver that is machined from a solid billet of Boehler steel in Piotti's own plant, with an Anson and Deely design with highly polished and hand fit internal parts, finely struck chopper lump barrels with fixed chokes, and a perfectly hand fitted stock finely checkered. The optional features you will find on this gun include extra charges for 20-gauge gun, single trigger, rose and scroll engraving, scalloped action, and fine leather case. The cost for this gun ordered new will exceed $25,000! The attention to detail in this firearm is gun art in its purest form. From the metal to metal fit, wood to metal fit, nearly invisible screws, hand checkered wood...THIS IS PERFECTION YOU RARELY SEE. This gun was engraved by Araldo Piotti himself and is simple elegance defined. Weighing 5lbs. 8oz. and balanced perfectly on the hinge pin, this is one of the lightest weight Piotti 20ga. guns you will ever see…at least ½ pound lighter than the rest. If you like a lightweight field gun to reduce fatigue, this gun is unique in that department. The handling dynamics of this gun match the artistry of its pieces. Piotti guns handle like a dream. With 27" barrels choked IC/M (.010/.021 constriction) and the gorgeous English style stock, it is a racy, sexy little bird gun that has seen little use. Even though the gun is in near new condition, you can buy this gun today at a fraction of the price of a new gun and for less than any others presently offered for sale. There are field marks in the buttstock from light use. If you want the wood to be restored to new by our in-house artisans, just add $500 to the price and be prepared to wait about 8 weeks for the work to be completed. We can do it after the hunting season for the same price and with the same wait time if you prefer. You cannot find a finer premium side x side for this price! Thanks for looking.
