Kolar Max Lite Sporting with unique super light barrels; both barrel sets were made in Italy by Perugini & Visini using factory Kolar monoblocks with file cut top ribs. Because these barrels utilize ventilated side ribs, they are incredibly light. Fiber optic front sights and small white mid beads on both sets of barrels. The receiver exhibits full-coverage large black leaf engraving with deep relief eagle motif on the bottom; eagle’s head on top lever roundel; flying eagle motif framed in large trigger guard piercing; and a nicely pierced top lever tail. Engraving, though unsigned, is by Bill Zeitz.

The stock, with right hand palm swell, is beautifully made of high-grade English walnut by Ross Waghorn in Australia. Black horn edge inlay on the grip and adorned with tear drops. Fine checkering features lots of coverage with several ribbons and wraparound panel over the wrist. Gloss finish shows some clouding on and beneath the comb, with scattered handling marks as expended on a gun that’s been shot but well cared for.

Mechanical condition is excellent. Single selective trigger. Both sets of barrels open smoothly without wobble. Note that while the top lever sits at the center of the tang, Kolar top levers bottom-out nearly at the left hand side of the tang; this means that there is a lot of life remaining in the present locking block.

Comes in a Beretta two-barrel case with wrenches for adjustable comb and dropout trigger unit.
