29" BARRELS, SKEET & MODIFIED, 2-1/2", SINGLE MECHANICAL TRIGGER, EJECTORS,  STRAIGHT HAND GRIP, SPLINTER FOREND, SCORED BUTTPLATE, 6 LBS 11 OZ, 1-5/8" DAC, 2-3/8" DAH, 14-1/8" LOP

A 12 gauge sidelock game gun with 28" blacked round nitro proved barrels that are fit with ejectors, a tapered smooth concave game rib and a steel bead front sight. Proved for 2-1/2" cartridges and choked skeet & modified. The rib is marked "C.S. ROSSON & CO. 13. RAMPANT HORSE STREET. NORWICH. (SIR JOSEPH WHITWORTH'S FLUID PRESSED STEEL BARRELS)" The coin finished action body and lockplates are adorned with traditional Rose & Scroll engraving. The lockplates are engraved "C.S. ROSSON & CO" by action bars. The action is fit with gold lined cocking indicators, beaded fences, blacked engraved top lever with both sides checkered thumbpiece and automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" ahead of the checkered and engraved safety slide. The mechanical single trigger is protected by a blacked engraved trigger guard ending in a long bottom strap with serial number. Best quality walnut stock with straight hand grip, drop points, vacant gold stock oval and splinter fore-end with Anson type push button release. 14-1/8" LOP to a scored buttplate, 6 Lbs. 11 Oz. Shotgun comes with oak and leather trunk case.
