Spanish Hudson Side by Side Boxlock in 12 Ga, a classic Spanish field gun featuring a traditional boxlock action, 28" smoothbore barrels with 2 ¾" chambers and a solid rib.

It features a Straight English stock and double triggers for precise handling, along with an automatic safety and extractors for reliable field use.

Regarding this specific instance, The Hudson Boxlock was retailed by Elderkin & Son in the late 1960s and has seen a fair amount of use. The barrels show corrosion along much of their length, though no pitting is evident. The wood is a beautiful amber-gold, and the receiver still retains a lot of bluing and some fine scroll engraving. The butt stock has kept its sharp checkering. Specific measurements include LOP 15 1/8", LOP to Wood 14 7/8", DAC 1 5/8", DAH 2 1/4", Cast Neutral. The gun is chambered in 12 Ga with 2 ¾" chambers and fixed chokes: L Full / R IM. Dating to 1985 in Spain, this example is offered here with a price of $350.
