HIGHLY ENGRAVED SIMSON SIDELOCK PIGEON GUN - 12 GAUGE 29 3/8" BARRELS
Description: Simson ejector pigeon gun made in Germany in 1951. Elaborate scroll and game scene engraving. Carved oak leaf fences. Nicely stocked in an English style with tear drops at the lock plates. Double underbite with one lump protruding through the cation. Concealed Greener style third fastener. Articulated front trigger. Long trigger guard tang. Anson push rod fastening system. Manual safety. Slightly raised and tapered top rib. Bottom rib has plugged swivel holes. Two stock ovals one with initials of KHL and the other with a pigeon in flight. Outstanding condition showing light use. Nicely figured European walnut with double border checkering pattern. Barrels are 29 3/8"Chambers are 2 3/4". Right barrel measures .727 with 23/1000 choke (Imp Mod). Left barrel is .724 with 40/1000 Choke (Full). Weight of the gun is 8 LBS 4 5/8 OZ. . LOP - 14 5/8".
