J. Stevens Model 94B 12 Gauge Single-Shot Shotgun – A classic American break-action, exposed-hammer shotgun manufactured by J. Stevens/Savage Arms. Chambered in 12 gauge, the Model 94B features a simple and durable single-shot design, fixed choke (commonly Full on 12-gauge models), blued steel barrel and receiver, and a hardwood stock. Produced for decades beginning in the late 1920s, the Model 94B earned a reputation as a reliable utility shotgun for hunting, farm use, and beginner shooters. Many examples made before 1968 do not have serial numbers because they were manufactured before federal serialization requirements.
