Attractive Stevens Model 520-30 US Military riot shotgun from WWII, marked with multiple flaming bomb proofs, partially restored.
Description:
Standard configuration J. Stevens Model 520-30 pump action shotgun, 12 gauge, with 20" barrel having upper tang-mounted safety. Left side of the barrel marked with standard three line address, citing 2 3/4" chambering, with military proofs that are repeated on the left side of the receiver along with large "U.S." SN on the lower tang is 44340. Checkered walnut forend and buttstock, the latter fitted with unmarked, partially serrated buttplate.
Condition:
VG+ As partially restored, the barrel, forend, magazine tube, and trigger guard areas appearing original, the receiver/safety having been redipped with added varnish applied to the buttstock and buttplate. Bright bore. Correct manual mechanics. A very attractive albeit partially restored Stevens Model 520-30 pump-action 12 gauge riot shotgun as issued by U.S. Military during World War II.
