Good working Stevens double model MODEL 511 in 16ga, with a 28" barrels,chambered for the 2 3/4" shell with one silver bead sight and very clean shiny bores.Lever release is almost center. Gun locks up tight, and functions very well. The aged tenite stocks are very good, with press checkering,they have no issues. Left tube near the breech has blue missing , so the former owner was a leftie, and wear occurred from carry. Chambered FOR THE 2 3/4" shell, with chokes:super tight MOD and tight FULL The barrels are about 87% blue, with the frame showing just mild color case hardening, remainder is worn. LOP is 14 3/8". Many of these fine doubles were sold through Sears and this one is marked J.C Higgins 101.7. A rugged light weight American double. We don’t have asite . I prefer money orders or a check.
