A .410-gauge boxlock non-ejector game shotgun. The 26” barrels have 3" chambers, extractors, a tapered machined flat-top rib with rib extension, fitted with front and middle steel bead sights, and are choked Modified and Modified. The top right barrel is marked "SELECTED FORGED STEEL" while the top of the left barrel is marked "PROOF TESTED .410 BORE // 3 INCH CHAMBER". The trace case color hardened (More in Protected Areas) Stevens Number 5100 action is engraved on the left side with a pointing dog in tall grass and marked "STEVENS // SAVAGE ARMS CORPORATION // CHICOPEE FALLS, MASS. U.S.A.". The right side is marked "5100" and bottom in front of the trigger guard is marked "18B" inside an oval. The action is fitted with double triggers, automatic scored slide safety and rib extension third fastener. The action and barrels have freckling. Select quality walnut stock with pistol hand grip, point pattern checkering, similar checkered splinter fore-end with snap release, 14-1/4" LOP to a scored black plastic buttplate, Cast Off 1/8 at face, 6 Lbs. 9 Oz.
