Description: Make: Remington Model: 870 Express Magnum Year of Manufacture: Modern Caliber: 12 Ga. 2 3/4 or 3" Action Type: Pump Action Shotgun Markings: The left side of the receiver is stamped “Remington 870 Express Magnum,” and the serial number, “A527116M”. The left side of the barrel is stamped “*12 GA. / Use 2 ¾” or 3” Shells In Magnum Receivers / Use 2 3/4" in All Others". The right side of the barrel is stamped with the warning paragraph and “Remington Arms Company Inc. Ilion , NY.” Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a durable synthetic stock and forend with a nice extendeable stock and pistol grip. Type of Finish: Matte Finish Originality: Factory Original Bore Condition: The bore is bright, with just a bit of streaking that will clean. There is no erosion. Overall Condition: This gun retains about 97% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only slight wear and handling. The most significant wear is on the magazine tube from operation of the slide. Otherwise the metal looks almost new. The markings are sharp. Mechanics: The action functions well though we have not test fired this gun. Box & Accessories: None Our Assessment: This is a terrific tactical, competition, or home defense shotgun. It features the legendary 870 pump action that’s become the gold standard of pump guns everywhere. Everything about this shotgun is just right. The stock is durable, yet comfortable, and built to survive. The sights are excellent, giving rapid sight acquisition and reliable service. The barrel length is perfect for close quarters.
