The Raptor II features a gas-operated semi-automatic action with a magazine cut-off that allows for safe clearing of the chamber while keeping the magazine loaded. The shotgun also features a host of upgrades, sporting a redesigned stock and forearm, oversized operating handle and bolt release for ease of use with gloves, improved recoil pad, and a fiber optic sight for high visibility in a wide variety of lighting conditions. A simple but familiar crossbolt safety is located behind the trigger for ease of access.

The Youth model is designed for younger shooters and comes in a lighter recoiling 20 gauge chambering along with a shorter length of pull. This model features a walnut synthetic stock and features a 24-inch barrel and a 3-inch chamber. The magazine tube can hold up to 5 shells. Three choke tubes (IC, M, F) are included along with a shot plug for reducing the shot capacity to meet compliance with local hunting regulations.
