"Very Fine W&C Scott & Son Hammer Double 12 Gauge (AS36)

"Overall length is approximately 43". Has 27" 12 Gauge barrels with steel 20 Gauge liners. The chambers are 2¾" and the bores are excellent. The barrels have a fine brown Damascus pattern. The rib is marked “W. & C. Scott & Son". All action parts have excellent tight scroll engraving. The highly figured butt stock is excellent with checkering at the wrist and tear drops at the back of the action. The forend is excellent with fine checkering. The length of pull is 13¾". The action, with rebounding hammers, functions correctly. The action is tight. It has a checkered butt with heel and toe plates. This is a great example of a fine English shotgun that, with its sleeved 20 Gauge barrels, would be safe to shoot with modern ammunition. Don’t miss out!
