Used W&C. Scott & Son 20 bore sidelock ejector gun with 28” barrels. The gun is choked improved cylinder and modified. Length of pull od 14 11/16” over a black leather covered pad.

Straight hand grip, double triggers on a square bar action with 5-pin locks, Greener cross-bolt, auto-safety, removable striker discs, single brass bead on a matted flat rib, relief engraved “SAFE” ahead of the safety catch, vacant silver oval, checkered wrist and forend with mullered borders, and an Anson push button forend release. Circa early 1920s gun proofed in Birmingham for 7/8 oz loads with 2 ¾” chambers.

Engraved with small scroll. Case color hardened action and blued furniture. About 90% of case colors remain. Well figured walnut stock. Pristine bores and excellent bluing on barrels. Checkering remains crisp and clean. Previous owner mentions the stock and forend were refinished by Jack Rowe and he also installed the leather pad. Very minor sign of use post wood refinish. Top lever slightly right of center, on face, and ejectors in time.
