W & C Scott 10 bore Premier Hammergun

Description:
W.& C. Scott "Premier Quality' 10 bore hammergun, 29" nitro prooved Damascus barrels with 2-5/8" chambers. The sidelock action features beautifully sculptured percussion fences and superb fit and finish. Engraved with the finest delicate scroll throughout and a wonderful patina of iridescent original case colors. The half round pistol grip stock of finest quality old world walnut with rich red color and deep smoky figure - simply stunning, measures 14-1/4" to a checkered horn buttplate. Perfectly balanced at 7 lbs, 14 oz., this gun is just waiting to be taken afield. Built around 1873, this is a fine example of Britain's best!
