W&C Scott 12 gauce sidelock shotgun - crystal indicators

Description:
This is a nice WC. Scott and Son 12ga. sidelock with crystal indicators 30” damascus barrels choked what looks like cylinder in the right and improved in the left from a muzzle gauge. The gun weighs 7lbs 10oz. LOP is 14 ½” and is slightly cast off for a right handed shooter.

This is a wonderful gun and I have shot a round or two of sporting clays with it. There is some wear and a few nicks/scratches on the stock. From the list of serial numbers at the doublegun journal this was made in 1879. Bores are nice. Damascus pattern is worn butt visible. I almost hate to list this for sale, but the reality is I just don’t use it like I should. 3 day non-shooting inspection. it’s an antique and can go direct to you house if it is legal in your state.
