W&C Scott “Continental” 16 gauge double shotgun and Motor Case

Description:
A  W&C Scott, Birmingham, 16 gauge double in the original motor case.  Prewar high quality, with 28" steel barrels,
2-5/8" chambers, and extractors. It has action side clips, shoulders, double purdey under lugs, and a crossbolt. The barrels ring true, and lockup is very tight. The original bluing and stock finishes are present and are very good. Fine engraving graces the action, and the model name ( Continental) and maker's address are on the barrel. It has an Anson pushrod forend latch, and original sling swivels. The oak motor case is in good condition. Please see the photos to determine actual condition. This is a light, very well balanced, double with great stock dimensions, and pitch. Shipping with the case (17 lbs.) will depend on buyer location. Checks or USPS money orders only accepted.
