30" DAMASCUS BARRELS, IMPROVED CYLINDER AND MODIFIED, 2-3/4", DOUBLE TRIGGERS, ROUND KNOB GRIP, SPLINTER FOREND, BUTTPLATE, 7 LBS - 14 OZ, 1-3/4" DAC, 3-1/8" DAH, 14" LOP

An antique English made hammer 12 gauge game gun with 30" round Damascus steel dovetail barrels that are fit with an extractor, a tapered smooth concave game rib with doll's head rib extension and a brass bead front sight. The barrels are chambered for 2-3/4" cartridges and are choked improved cylinder & modified. The rib is roll marked 'W & C. SCOTT & SON. MAKERS & PATENTEES. LONDON.'. The case color hardened finished action body and locks are adorned with light coverage English Arabesque scrolls with border engraving and a swan engraved at back of the left lock. The lockplates are engraved 'W C SCOTT & SON'. The action is fit with re-bounding hammers and a blacked engraved top lever with the left side of the thumbpiece checkered. The double triggers are protected by a border line engraved trigger guard extending to a bottom strap with the gun's serial number. Best quality walnut stock with round knob pistol grip, vacant stock oval and a splinter fore-end with lever release. 14" LOP to a checkered hard rubber buttplate, 7 Lbs. - 14 Oz.
