28" BARRELS, IMPROVED MODIFIED AND FULL, 2-1/2", DOUBLE TRIGGERS, STRAIGHT HAND GRIP, SPLINTER FOREND, SCORED BUTT, 6 LBS - 3 OZ, 1-1/2" DAC, 2-3/8" DAH, 14-5/8" LOP

English made 16 gauge boxlock ejector game shotgun. The 28” blacked steel barrels that are fit with ejectors, 2-1/2” chambers, tapered smooth concave game rib with a brass bead front sight and are choked Improved Modified and Full. Top of rib near breech is roll marked "C, JEFFERY & SONS, DORCHESTER.". Top of the right barrel is roll stamped "WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD." while the top of the left barrel is roll stamped "BIRMINGHAM". Barrel flats have Birmingham nitro proof marks. Case color finish boxlock action is adorned with English Arabesque scroll engraving with "WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD." on both sides of the action body. The action body is fit with double triggers protected by blued and engraved trigger guard which extends to a botton strap that is border engraved and what is believed to be the Jeffery & Sons serial numbers, top lever is blacked, engraved and the left side of the thumb piece is checkered, "SAFE" engravaed ahead of the automatic fire blued, checkered and engraved safety slide. Best quality European walnut stock with straight hand grip, two panel checkering and an engraved stock oval. Splinter fore-end with matching checkering and Anson type push button release, 14-5/8" LOP to a checkered scored butt, 6 Lbs. - 3 Oz.
