Westley Richards London Best Box Lock Live Pigeon Drop Lock with original wood and case

Description:
We are pleased to offer this wonderful Westley Richards London addressed Drop Lock Pigeon. S, it had a 13.5" LOP, 30" barrels (VL&A Chicago marked), standard scroll engraving. My client acquired it in 1990 he is a tall man and had it fit to him, it now has stunning English walnut of a medium ( think Makers Mark bourbon) brown finish, it retains the original skeleton top and bottom plates and a checkered butt same as the original wood (which is included along with all correspondence, the original forend, and hard case). The current dimensions are 16 1/8" LOP 1 5/8' DAC and 2 1/8" DAH. I am 6'1 tall average neck and this gun fits me like a glove. The case color is vibrant and the barrel black is near 100%. My client desired a versatile gun so he had Briley install a set of tubes in the early 1990's and it comes with all 5 he ordered sk through full.
Upon completion he had it fitted in an oak and leather case with a canvas cover and includes oil bottle, snap caps; mop and rod
12 bore ejector with single selective trigger It also has the dolls head top bite. Lock up is as new. Truly a remarkable gun from the firm of Westley Richards that offers may possibilities for any buyer the original shorter LOP stock that it includes early 1900's prodcution
