Rose and scroll engraved boxlock action. Metal is very fine with small area of finish loss atop barrels. Receiver remains bright. Stocks are very fine with the addition of cheek piece and evidence of having been extended 3/4" at butt. Mechanically excellent. Mfg in 1897.6 lbs 7 oz
