Description: Absolutely a beast of a gun here - William Evans 28ga Hammer double with 30" fluid steel barrels. The gun has been custom stocked with amazing modern dimesions by noted stocker, Paul Hodgins. Now with semi-beavertail forend that has beautiful small Schnabel, double triggers, capped pistol grip stock, extractors, and beautiful checkered horn buttplate. This dainty sidelock gun is rose and scroll engraved in about 80% coverage. The gun was imported by our client from a descendant of the original owner from the U.K. Overall, the gun remains in very fine condition. Barrels retain about 95% of their blued finish. Action is coin in color and has excellent engraving. Custom stocks are very near mint and the wood on this gun is so stunning it will bring tears to your eyes!
