This William Evans Hammer Gun in 12 Ga is a classic British-made top lever hammergun known for its traditional build and smooth operation.

It features quality English walnut and a solid rib for dependable use, with double triggers and extractors that suit a wide range of shooting needs.

Overall condition is excellent. The gun locks up tight and the non-rebounding locks work cleanly.

The English walnut shows only light varnish wear, and the checkering remains sharp on the stock, fore-end, and butt plate. The brass bead sight is intact, and the top rib carries the “William Evans (from Purdeys) 4 Pall Mall St James London” marking. Barrels are in excellent shape aside from a very small dent on the rib. Made in 1895 in the United Kingdom, this rotary under-lever hammergun has neutral cast and well?kept dimensions for comfortable handling.
