this is a William Evans 28 guage double barrel shotgun with 2 1/2" chambers, 28" barrels choked FULL & FULL.Nice scroll British engraving with coin finnish this shotgun has had the buttstock replaced with a piece of figured Turkish walnut ( original butt stock had been heated and bent as a dogleg stock for owner who lost sight of right eye).bores are excellent and overall condition is atleast 95%. here are the stock dimensions, drop at heel 2" drop at toe 7 1/4" length of pull 14 3/8" from center of front trigger to center of butt, weight 5# 12 oz. stock has slight cast for right hand shooter.
Please note 2 1/2" shell are readily available. This is a consignment gun. The present owner has developed a rare bone disease affecting his feet and lower legs and has difficulty walking.
