The twenty-eight-inch Damascus barrels and straight English walnut stock display light marks consistent with age and field use, maintaining the dignified character of a well-traveled antique. While there is a handling dent on the right side of the stock and a visible crack, the fore-end locks in tightly and the bores remain in good condition. Chambered for 2 ½-inch shells with fixed cylinder chokes in both barrels, this pre-1899 firearm operates with traditional extractors and a manual safety.
