This William Evans sidelock ejector 12 Gauge is a classic English game gun with elegant scroll and border engraving on the sidelock action. It features 28" barrels choked Modified & Improved Cylinder for excellent versatility in the field. The gun is fitted with double triggers, tang safety, and ejectors.
The checkered walnut straight-grip stock includes carved drop points, a blank initial plate in the toe line, and comfortable dimensions (15 1/8" LOP, 1 1/4" DAC, 2 1/4" DAH, 12mm cast-off) with a lively 6 lb 7 oz overall weight.
Condition is very good plus with solid metal finishes. The wood shows marring and handling marks consistent with use. It is housed in the original maker’s oak and canvas travel case with label, cleaning equipment, and leather straps (front handle detached but easily reattached with simple stitching repair).
