Excellent Winchester Model 12 Shotgun in 20 Gauge Pre-war 1938
Description:
Serial #764223, 20 Ga. (2 3/4"), 30" barrel with an excellent, bright bore, choked FULL. This is a handsome, 1938-made shotgun that has retained 95-97% of the original blue finish, with some mild silvering at the muzzle, along the magazine tube, and on the underside of the rear portion of the barrel assembly. Some further bright spots are present on the left side of the frame where there are some very small impact marks at the takedown juncture. The walnut forend and buttstock are in fine shape with scattered handling marks and minor blemishes scattered about the original varnish finish, and there is a 14" length-of-pull to the original Winchester hard rubber buttplate. This is a handsome example of a pre-war Model 12, with lots of original finish remaining, and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
