Serial #1054956, 20 Gauge (2 ¾" chamber), 28 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore choked full. This is the Winchester slide action Model 12 shotgun built in 1945. The immediate post war bird gun remains in excellent condition with the metal surfaces retaining virtually all 95-97% of the original blue finish with a few minor use marks and scratches on the barrel and receiver. The walnut stock and forearm are both in excellent condition with some tiny storage and use marks and scratches. The action functions smoothly with a tight lock up. LOP is 14" to the original Winchester butt plate. An excellent example of a WWII era Model 12.
