Vintage Classic Winchester Model 12 Pump Shotgun C. 1953
Offered here for sale and just acquired from a very fine arms collection is a classic vintage 1953 Winchester Model 12 pump shotgun in fine condition. Serial number 1339847. It has a 30" plain barrel chambered for 2-3/4" shells and it is FULL choked. The shotgun has only seen light use. The stock is solid in fine shape. The ejector housing has some marks oil which we will clean if before shipping. The shotgun retains all of its blued finish and this should be an excellent shotgun for use or as a collectible addition to any Winchester collection.
Based on this serial number 1,339,847, this Winchester Model 12 was manufactured in 1953. Winchester records show that serial numbers at the end of 1952 reached approximately 1,328,002, and the end of 1953 reached approximately 1,399,996, placing this shotgun squarely in 1953 production.
