"PRE-WAR WINCHESTER 21 DELUXE SKEET SHOTGUN 12 GAUGE (W13410)
Description:
"SN: 8324 made in 1935 in New Haven Connecticut. 12 Gauge side by side with 26" barrels with a silver middle bead and the factory red front bead. 2 ¾" chambers choked WS-1/WS-2. Box lock with ejectors and a single selective trigger. LOP measures 14 ¼" to the solid checkered butt with a drop of 1 ½" to 2 ½". Bores are excellent and all of the metal is in near excellent condition for the age with minimal wear and handling marks, the only part showing significant finish wear is the latch on the beavertail forearm where a shooter palm is placed. While the trigger plate is not marked it is clear that this gun has upgraded wood with the nicely figured American walnut furniture, hand checkered with original finish in very good condition with minor wear and handling marks. Barrels are tight and on face with the screw in the bite barely sticking out, action locks up tight and top lever is right of center. Overall a fantastic original condition pre-war Winchester.
