This is a really super Winchester Model 21 Field gun in the desirable & practical 16 gauge. Great configuration & dimensions for taking afield with a factory stock & forend that will rival most higher grades!!!
This shotgun is tight & sound & fully functional but in need of minor cosmetics... mostly barrel blue & wood "refresh". A simple project.
Gun is all original and operates crisply.
Barrels are gray and oxidized stained in spots. The metal IS NOT PITTED... just stained. You wont feel the spots to the touch and will be able to be polished easily. Original markings still good. Bores are mirror bright. No pitting. No dings/dents

Receiver, toplever & trigger bow retain much original factory blue.
The stock set on this gun was obviously handpicked at the factory and would usually be found on a much higher grade gun! Fantastic grain, figure & color. Modern dimensions.
Wood is tight, sound & uncracked with no major blems. Checkering is worn from use. This wood deserves to have the finish & checkering refreshed and will be a showstopper!
