"WINCHESTER MODEL 24 SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN 20 GAUGE (W13553)

Description:
"SN: 65377 made in 1949. 20 gauge side by side shotgun with 28"" barrels with a single silver bead sight, 2 3/4"" chambers and fixed chokes measuring .010/.020 (Light Mod./Improved Mod.). Box lock with extractors, double triggers and an automatic safety. 14 3/8"" LOP to the original butt plate with a drop of 1 1/4"" to 2"". Walnut furniture and blued metal finish are in near excellent condition for the age with very few handling marks and only a few small areas of finish loss on the metal. Bores are excellent and barrels are tight and on face. Very unusual to see these in high condition as they were Winchester's entry level shotgun and often heavily used.
