Winchester model 42 pump action .410 bore shotgun. Made in 1947 this “pre-war” configured 42 has a 26” solid rib barrel with Modified choke. Pistol grip stock with factory butt plate and small, ringed field style forearm.
What sets this gun off from most of the rest is the metal is in really excellent condition retaining over 98% original blue finishes. The forearm finish is nearly perfect and although the buttstock is nice it does have its share of light marks, probably from a vest or hunting jacket, call it 95%!
Mint bore and perfect mechanics. It tips the scales at 6 lbs. 3 oz. and has a standard 13 7/8” LOP.
