Winchester Model 42 Pump Action .410 gauge shotgun. Pre-War MFR 1941. Completely original. It has been fired at one time as it shows small amount of wear to the magazine tube and a line on the lower right side of the barrel from contact with the forearm. It has a few light marks on the receiver but too small for my camera to make them distinctive. Also a few marks on the wood that are shown in the pictures. These most likely have occured during storage over the last 80 years, rather than from use. There is evidence of what appears to be residual grease that was never removed from around the bolt and lifter from some time in the distant past. It does have a 28" plain barrel and a Full choke. The LOP is 14" to the end of the original Winchester butt plate. Drop at heel is approx. 2 1/2". As expected, the bore is mint and the action is tight. I accept payment via Postal Money Order or Certfied Check. Buyer pays shipping.
