Serial #90656, .410 (3" chamber), 26 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore choked full. This is the Winchester Model 42 slide action shotgun manufactured in 1950. The metal surfaces show about 80-85% of the original bright blue that has thinned to gray along the high edges and carry points with scattered light use and handling marks. The walnut stock and forearm are both solid with scattered old contusions, use marks and scratches having an intact original hard plastic Winchester butt plate. The action functions smoothly with a tight lock up. FFL or C&R
