Description:
John Browning designed this after Winchester made him design the 1887 lever action shotgun, but he significantly improved handling with this pump design. The 1897 is known for its riot configuration used by the both the civilian and military police as a prison gun. Well know is its unique pump-action that comes out the rear and can slam fire. This 32" model is great for crushing clays with a full choke. Likely re-blued but in great shape. C model/generation which is one of the more common. In good condition with some age, scratches and use wear. 12 Gauge
