Description:
   SOLD   Working Winchester Takedown Model 1897 in 12ga with choke of FULL , as stated on the barrel.The 28" barrel has a super clean bore , and thebaction is very strong, stiff from not being used, The barrel exterior metal has mottled coloring brwon/grey , with some stroage frost but not rusted-out. The factory original Amwerican walnut wood is good with the stock having an age stress short drying crack on the rigth side located midway of  the receiver , but stable and been there a long time. Stock has the steel butt-plate with a widows peak.Matching numbers and the SN on the forend barrel are more worn down.LOP is 14 1/8". Good cowboy action shooter. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith  before  shooting.
