This is a beautiful 1980's vintage Winchester 101 Diamond Grade 12 Gauge Trap Gun in nearly pristine LNIB condition. The "Diamond Grade Trap" was Winchester's finest over/under shotgun based on the Model 101. Made in Japan. This gun features 30" high-post ventilated rib barrels. Top barrel is fixed Full and the lower barrel is threaded for Winchoke choke tubes. The high post vent rib has an ivory mid-bead and ivory front bead sight. The rib between the barrels is ventilated and the rear of the barrels within the receiver is polished and jeweled. The gun has a silver satin finished engraved receiver with floral and scroll designs as well as a diamond on each side. The bottom of the receiver is also engraved with scroll and floral designs and marked "Winchester" and "Diamond Grade". The gun features automatic ejectors and a single selectable trigger with a gold finish. The factory stock set is deluxe checkered walnut with a gloss finish, with a black diamond design on the top of the wrist and bottom of the pistol grip. This gun comes with a factory Winchester branded black recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 1/2" and weighs 8lbs 13 oz.
This gun has been carried very little and sparingly fired. Factory bluing is 98/99% with no visible defects or wear. The satin finished receiver is clean with no handling or storage marks. Some slight wear marks on the trigger and light staining on the forearm release hardware. Neither area detracts from the appearance of this firearm. Bores are minty and bright. They are free from pitting, dents, bulges or imperfections of any kind. The threads for the Winchokes are clean and in perfect shape. The original deluxe walnut stock set is in excellent condition, 100% free from cracks or repairs, and retains 98/99% factory gloss finish. The stock set has clean and crisp checkering with no soiling, some hard to see minor handling/storage marks. The factory recoil pad is in excellent shape and fitted perfectly and tight to the wood.
