Vintage Winchester Model 101 20 gauge SKEET shotgun.

Description:
A fine first year production twenty gauge Winchester Model '101’ over/under ‘Skeet’ shotgun by Miroku. This gun is in 20 gauge and has 26 1/2”bbls. with a ventilated rib. The bbls. are marked on the left side at the breech “Skeet 1, Skeet 2”. The serial number indicates it was built in 1966 and was early in the first year of production for this model.

This is a one owner gun from a New England estate. The forestock could not be found in the estate. The gun retains 98% strong original blued finish, there is no edge wear. The only evidence of use is thinning blue on the rear tang of the trigger guard at the pistol grip. The bores are excellent, and the action is tight as new. The semi-deluxe walnut stock retains 98% original factory finish with a few light handling marks. 

This vintage 20 gauge skeet Winchester is in exceptional condition for its age, and given this model’s popularity with skeet shooters and sportsmen, is well deserving of receiving a replacement forestock with metal fittings by a collector, skeet shooter, or dealer….especially given the its low opening bid.
