Custom Model 12 Heavy Duck 12ga
Description: Available today is the one of a kind Winchester Model 12 Classic Duck. Manufactured in 1952, it has been completely redone from stem to stern. It has a 32" Full choke factory solid rib barrel. The gun is fitted with a beautiful figured custom field style stock by Jacob Meyer at High Plains Gunstocks. Fancy checkering, flawless wood to metal fit and finished with a red, period correct Winchester pad. LOP is 14.5". The receiver was engraved by master engraver Jim Downing, with 3 ducks in flight on the left and a swimming goose on the right surrounded by scroll engravine. Parker Wiley at "Gunsmith at Large" has beautifully color case hardened the receiver, jeweled the bolt and carrier, and blued the barrel. All in all, an exceptional and beautiful customization and restoration. The gun has not been fired since the work was completed. A safe queen, this gun is in 99+% condition. She weighs in at a hefty 8 lbs 12 1/2 oz as you see it. A very classy field gun that must be seen to be appreciated. This gun will make you look good even when you miss! In order to protect your investment, all long guns over $500 must be shipped in a hard case. Shipping at this level is $75 and includes a hard case. Shipping cost could increase depending on value or weight of the firearm. For long guns less than $500, we still recommend the purchase of a hard case, again to protect your investment.
