Rare Winchester Model 12 Trench Shotgun
Description: 10/1/25 - This is a rare and original Winchester Model 12 trench shotgun from 1943. It correctly has a crossed cannons cartouche and Guy H. Drewry inspectors mark on the stock, and the receiver is U.S. marked with a flaming bomb, as well. This gun is in the proper serial range and dates to 1943. About 60,000 total Winchester Model 12's were produced for WW2 but many went into riot or training configurations. The finish on this one is original aside from the heat shield, which has been re-blued. Heat shield is correctly marked with a 'W' by Winchester and is a proper four-row example. The finish on the rest of the gun is excellent except for an area on the right side of the receiver where it's clear it was exposed to some type of liquid. Excellent bore and smooth action. The wood furniture is in very good condition with a few minor dings but no cracks. Curio/Relic: Yes Shotgun Gauge: 12 Gauge Price: $6,850.00 Contact Seller |
